ABOUT US

The ‘home of the blues’ in central London

Welcome to Ain’t Nothin’ But – the esteemed "home of the blues" nestled in the heart of London. Since 1993, we've proudly stood as an independent grassroots music venue, dedicated solely to live music and the blues genre.

EVERYDAY WE HAVE THE BLUES

Every night of the week, our stage comes alive with performances. From multiple acts daily to organised jam sessions, Ain’t Nothin’ But boasts one of the most vibrant and intensively used musical stages in the country. Thanks to our central location and late license, we keep our doors open long into the night, offering five sets of music every weekday and even more on weekends. Weekday sets typically start with an acoustic act from 6:30pm and the main band from 9pm. Weekends start earlier (e.g. from 3:30pm) and run later. Check our listings for details.

OUR COMMUNITY

At Ain’t Nothin’ But, we've cultivated more than just a venue – we've nurtured a thriving community of musicians and dedicated regulars. On any given week, you'll find  as many as 50 professional musicians gracing our stage, joined by an additional 50+ players on our blues jam nights. Our doors welcome a truly diverse audience from all corners of the globe.

Ain’t Nothin’ But was fundamental in my career. It’s where I truly cut my teeth & it stays with me to this day. Not just playing but also being inspired by incredible talents such as James Hunter, Big Joe Louis & Little George Sueref. I learned a lot!
